3. FEATURES
3.1 COPY MODE (Direct Write)
If you are sure that the master CD is intact without any damage, you can make your copies by following
these steps:
1. Turn power on. Put the master CD in CD-ROM and up to three blank CD’s into CD-RW
drive(s).
2. The initial mode of this system is set to “COPY”. Push the “COPY” button to execute
duplication. When started, the system will give off one long beep sound and the “MODE” and
“STATUS” LED will flash on and off. During duplication, the “MODE“ LED will be solid
green and the” STATUS” LED will flash green simultaneously.
3. When duplication is completed, the system will give off a sound “Do Re Mi ”, and the “MODE”
and “STATUS” LED will flash green simultaneously. The CD-RW drives will eject the media.
4. During duplication, if the master CD or the blank CD is damaged, the “MODE” LED will flash
green and ”STATUS” LED will flash red simultaneously. Then, the blank CD will be ejected
and the system will give off three short beep sounds, which means that either the blank or the
original CD has a problem.
5. However, you may encounter some uncertainties about the original CD’s quality, such as marks,
scratches, dust etc. We also recommend that before duplication, you check both the original and
blank CD-R disc for visible flaws to prevent unnecessary loss. To avoid the waste of blank CD-R
discs, you can choose "TEST” mode describing in sections 3.2. Also, the meaning of flashing
lights and beep sound will be described in detail in section 4.
NOTE
1. During the "COPY" process, DO NOT push the "EJECT” button. The only way to stop the
operation is to turn off the power switch. However, the burned CD-R disc is not guaranteed to be
usable.
2. If the capacity of the original CD exceeds that of the blank CD, when started, the system will
give off one beep and during duplication the “MODE“ LED will fixed green and the “STATUS”
LED will flash green simultaneously. When duplication is completed, the system will give off
three short beep sounds, “MODE” and “STATUS” LED will flash red simultaneously.
3.2 TEST MODE
If you are not sure about the readability and intactness of the original CD, you can choose the "TEST"
function. During this "TEST" operation, the duplicator will go through the same process as it does under
"COPY” mode, but no data will be recorded onto the blank CD-R disc.
1. Put your master CD in the CD-ROM and the blank CD-R discs into the CD-RW drives.
2. Push the “TEST” button. When started, the system will give off two short beep sounds. During
testing the “MODE” LED shows solid red and “ STATUS” LED show flash green.
3. When the “TEST” process is done and no errors are detected the “MODE” LED will flash red
and ”STATUS” LED will flash green simultaneously and give off a “Do Re Mi” sound. The
CD-RW drive(s) will eject the media.
4. If the system detects any error from the original CD, the “MODE” and “STATUS” LED will
flash red simultaneously and the system will give off three short beep sounds.
