INTRODUCTION
The QD-123 is a low cost, performance oriented one to three CD Recordable duplication system. With
its user friendly one button operation, sleek desktop footprint, and office environment aesthetics, the
QD-123 is perfect for any user requiring easy copying of audio, video, or Data CDs. Superior
technology allows the QD-123 to ship without a hard drive; duplication of CDs is done on the fly. LED
indicators provide the user with status of the duplication process, minimizing the number of faulty discs.
Current high speed CD Recordable technology is supported at 16X. Applications suited for the QD-123
include Pro Audio, Multimedia, Government / Education, Software Development, Medical Imaging, and
Data Interchange
1. COMPONENTS
The QD-123 duplicator consists of the following components. Please contact Microboards Technical
Support if any of the items are missing or damaged:
- CD Duplicator
- AC Power Cable
- User’s manual (This document)
- Warranty Card
- CD-R Media
2. INSTALLATION
1. After you unpack the QD-123 CD Duplicator, place it on a flat and smooth surface. Make sure
there is enough open space around the unit, for good ventilation.
2. Plug in the duplicator.
3. Turn on the Power Switch. The system will advise you when it's ready for use by the following
signals:
- After powering on, it will automatically detect installed CD-ROM and CD-R drives.
- Then it will give off a long beep sound and the “PWR” LED will show solid green. When
system startup is completed, it will give off a “Do La Do” sound and “PWR”, “MODE”
and ““ STATUS” LED will show solid green.
